Playism will be heading across the ocean from Japan to PAX West again this year! Here are their three most anticipated Japanese titles: Break Arts II, 1bitHeart and La-Mulana 2. These are all PC/Steam releases. If you’re heading to PAX West aka Pax Prime this year you can check out the Playism booth, located at #6120 on the 6th floor of Washington State Convention Center.
Break Arts II:
I think the game art for this title is really cool. I included a demo video below I found that had a decent preview, but check out their steam page for full videos. Below is a description from Playism.
Be artistic, be destructive. Popular racing smartphone app BREAK ARTS is making its way to the PC! This version boasts further improved graphics and a whole new game system. PAX attendees will be able to check out the first demo available for this game.
La Mulana 2: The 0th Body, The 9th Spirit:
Like Break Arts II, La Mulana 2 also has a great artistic style to it. It reminds me of Castlevania mixed with a female Indiana Jones. The game play looks really fun and seems worth checking out, I’ve included a trailer below. Below is a description from Playism.
Explore the dangerous ruins of Eg-Lana with Lumisa Kosugi in this thrilling sequel to the hit-title La-Mulana. Funded through Kickstarter, PAX attendees will be able to play the latest demo available.

1bitHeart also has great art and is a social adventure game. It’s not like the other two games but a lot of people do seem to like social sims. It seems very interesting and I’ll have more to say when I get my hands on the demo. I do think the art and music are fantastic so, I’ll be checking it out. Below is a description from Playism.
A unique and endearing adventure game! Take on the role of Nanashi, a lonely, agoraphobic boy, as you solve a slew of mysteries around town while also making friends. The latest title from Alicemare and LiEat developer △○□× (Miwashiba).
