SNOW Open Beta Announcement Teaser

Just in times for the holiday and the weather. Poppermost has announced their upcoming, free-to-play, winter sports title, SNOW, will officially move into open beta on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016. Ever since SNOW went into closed beta at the beginning of 2015, the team has been hard at work fine-tuning the game, and they will soon be ready to open the lifts up to the masses. While the open beta will be for PC users only (via Steam), players will be able to experience the mountain like never before with a slew of new features, locations and gameplay modes at their disposal.

The open beta will include all of the features and premium events from the closed beta, but new content will include a polished, expanded, cooperative skiing experience, so friends can experience the mountain together in multiplayer. The game’s visuals have been optimized, making SNOW’s graphics truly jaw-dropping. Imagine looking in the distance at a stunning mountain vista, knowing it can be traversed from any angle. Everything is rideable.

Key features for the open beta include:

Free-Roam Multiplayer – Ski with friends like in real life and explore the mountain together.
Brand-New Competitive Mode – Compete in a series of events and top the leaderboards. Speed will prove helpful, but having a great variety of tricks is also necessary to master all types of events.
Continuously Growing List of PartnershipsSNOW offers a vast selection of real-world winter sports brands and pros.
An Expanded, Open World Mountain – Players can now explore more than 20 unique areas on the mountain, offering gameplay elements for every type of skiing.
