Square Enix has announced that they are releasing Final Fantasy III for the OUYA. The OUYA release of FINAL FANTASY III features several updates specifically developed for the console including improved visuals and optimized control systems. A free-to-try demo version of the game will also be available at launch.
OUYA is now shipping to early backers as part of a preview program. Starting in June, OUYA will be available for purchase in the United States and Canada through retailers Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and the store on OUYA.tv for $99.99. Extra controllers will retail for $49.99. Consumers can pre-order OUYA today at any of these retailers.
