A new trailer has been released for the upcoming 3DS platformer New Super Mario Bros. 2. Coins flow like wine as we get to see some returning power-ups like the Mini-Mushroom and the Mega-Mushroom. Also revealed is the White Tanooki suit, which shows up when you die five times in the same spot. This optional power-up pretty much acts like an invincibility star that gives you tail. We also get a glimpse at some new golden enemies like a giant gold Boo and some golden Bonzai Bills & Bullet Bills. It’s nice to see Mario heading through some challenging looking stages.
New Super Mario Bros. 2 comes out for the Nintendo 3DS in North America via eShop and retail on August 19th. Check GameGravy soon after for a golden review.
