SONY’s American President is not opposed to used games.

SCEA president Jack Tretton is against the rumor that the next Playstation console will not let consumers play used games. This is according to Michael Pachter, a videogame analyst that works for Wedbush Securities.  Pachter claims to have had an interview with Mr. Tretton and according to him Tretton says that “it would be great for the consumer to buy those” and that it would also be  “anti consumer to do that”.   Tretton also goes on to say that maybe Japan will think something different.

I would like to say that I came out of the womb with a controller in hand, but it wasn't until the age of 3 that I would receive my first console, the Atari 2600. From that moment on, games have not only a hobby of mine but a passion as well. Owning the majority of gaming platforms out there, I try to play as many different types of games that I can.
