Get a $99 Xbox 360 at Microsoft stores with contract now

Well all those rumors about the cheap xbox 360 prices and contracts are official confirmed. You can now get a $99 Xbox 360 with a two-year $15 a month contract. It includes a Kinect, Xbox Live Gold service, and a two-year warranty. The offer is now available at the Microsoft Store site.

So I know you are wondering, is it cheaper? Cost effective? etc, etc. It depends on your financial situation. The math works out to be roughly $460 for the bundle over the next two years. Currently the 4GB Xbox 360 Kinect bundle has a suggested retail price of $299, although you can find it for less. The Xbox Live Gold subscriptions costing about $50 a year, so in total this endeavor costs you about $399 or less if you bought an xbox 36o today without the subscription. Now, if you don’t have money for an Xbox 360 up front, this new contract is pretty good. It’s getting you your first Xbox 360 now out the door with everything with only a 10% subsidized financed rate. Now thats less than most credit cards.

For the hardcore gamer and/or people that can afford systems, this contract deal is not good for you. Also, not to mention the new Xbox 720 coming out soon, why would you want to keep paying on an old 360? All these arguments are a valid thing to keep in mind when getting sold on this new deal while visiting the Microsoft Store.
