Final Fantasy XIII-2 DLC launches today

Square Enix has announced that later today, downloadable content will be available for their game Final Fantasy XIII-2.  There will be two different costume packs, one which is free called “Style and Steel” designed by Yuko Oshima (member of the Japanese band AKB48) and the other is a Ezio Auditore costume ( YES ASSASSIN’S CREED!) which will be available for 240 MS points or $2.99 on PSN.  There will also be two cliseum opponents available for download, Gilgamesh and PuPu. Gilgamesh will be 320 MS points or $3.99 and PuPu will be  160 MS points or $1.99.  I’ve included a trailer and some screens from the DLC below.

AS NEW COLISEUM OPPONENTS IN FINAL FANTASY XIII-2

 Costume Worn by Ezio Auditore Available Today for Noel Kreiss 

LOS ANGELES (Apr. 10, 2012) – Square Enix, Inc., the publisher of SQUARE ENIX® interactive entertainment products in the Americas, today announced series favorites Gilgamesh and PuPu are available today as coliseum opponents in FINAL FANTASY® XIII-2. Compared to the previously released opponents, Gilgamesh should pose a far more difficult challenge to players. Also available today is the costume worn by Ezio Auditore as an optional outfit for Noel Kreiss, as well as “Style and Steel,” an original costume designed for Serah Farron by Yuko Oshima, a member of the Japanese music group AKB48.

Appearing from the Rift, Gilgamesh from FINAL FANTASY V and the mysterious alien PuPu from FINAL FANTASY VIII will be available via Xbox LIVE® Marketplace for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and via PlayStation®Network for the PlayStation®3 system.
