So words around the recent rumor mill indicates that the Nintendo Network might be coming to the 3DS soon! eShop apps for smartphones, patches for bugs and glitches and “Game Preview” mode may be part of the update.
There is no specific time frame at the moment for the next Nintendo 3DS firmware update, however the next update may bring with it the full implementation of Nintendo Network, which is Nintendo’s response to the popular Xbox Live and PSN.
Most would agree, this has taken an extremely long time. Its very exciting to see Nintendo finally being pushed into the next era of gaming and bringing themselves up to speed with Microsoft and Sony when it comes to online features. Stay tuned for any more updates on the Nintendo Network.
