Microsoft’s Major Nelson has just revealed that there are 40 different partners that have been confirmed for the expanded TV functionality coming to the Xbox 360. There are some pretty cool and unexpected stations listed, including HBO Go, Comcast, SyFy and Verizon. Turns out that the Bloomberg report was correct.

Still no news for how this will officially work, stay tuned for that. We are digging around and constantly bugging our Microsoft contacts to see what sort of subscription model is in place.
