Calibur11 just announced the pre-order for their new custom Gears of War 3 “Bleed Out” vault for the Xbox 360 (pictured above). Apparently the case has full grim graphics and an illuminated “Crimson Omen” icon which interacts with the actual Gears of War 3 game and glows red when you are killed in game. Its going for $90 and will be available when Gears of War 3 comes out later on in the year, you can see pre-order info here. In case you don’t know Calibur11 creates different “vault” type encasing that protects your xbox 360 and also comes with a controller cradle.
Right now Calibur11 is also providing people a chance to win a life-size suit of COG armor you can see here.
Not sure about you but I don’t know if I’d want to encase my xbox 360 in plastic with tons of things affixed to it, although I have to admit with the different options available its pretty tempting to see how it works out, the idea itself is pretty cool.
