Team Evil Genius won the DOTA 2 Championship against CDEC, 3-1.
The First Place victory comes with a cash prize of $6 MILLION. So I guess it sometimes pays to be good at MOBAs. CDEC’s second place finish gave them $2.8 million.
The total prize pool of $18 million is about what DOTA 2 brings in over the course of one month. Think that’s a lot? League of Legends pulls in $120 million a month.
