Xenoblade Games Take Up A Lot Of Space

Just about every next gen game requires an install on your new PS4, Xbox One or even Wii U.  With that it is almost necessary to constantly keep track of your available storage space before making purchases or just deleting games to play new ones.  Thankfully the Xbox One and Wii U give you the option of hooking an external hard drive up to them for more storage, but the PS4 has still not jumped on this band wagon.

Xenoblade Chronicles X has already been revealed as a huge title on the Wii U and now has been confirmed how much of an install base the digital version needs.  You will need more than 22.7GB available on your Wii U to play Xenoblade Chronicles X if you buy it digitally.  We still aren’t sure if having the disc will make the install base smaller or not, but if the same installation guidelines apply like on PS4 and Xbox One then the install base will be very close.  Xenoblade Chronicles X still doesn’t have a date for release, but is highly anticipated by many.  It has recently been revealed that it will feature 4-player online coop and a 32 player online mode that could allow trading and other socializing.

The NEW 3DS XL has Xenoblade Chronicles 3D releasing April 10th and if you buy it digitally then you will need at least 3.6GB on your SD card.  Xenoblade Chronicles is a port of the popular and rare game released on the Wii in 2010.  This version cannot be played on the old 3DS and only on the NEW 3DS XL since the CPU among other thing have been upgraded.  There has even been a confirmation on Amiibo support with Xenoblade Chronicles 3D.
