I’m pretty sure everyone was all upset when Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel released only for last gen systems. Well, it looks like 2K and GearBox have announced Borderlands: Handsome Jack Collection for the Xbox One and Playstation 4, which will include Borderlands 2, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and all the DLC that has been released for both games. It won’t include the first Borderlands so you will have to keep your old gen version for collector’s sake.
They will also be visually updated versions and make you glad you own the next gen systems to experience both games that way should’ve been in the first place. This collection will support cross save transfers, but you have to keep it within the same console family. Unfortunate for me I played them on Xbox 360 and I probably will get them on PS4 so I will have to start over, but I quite frankly won’t mind. There is also a 4-player split screen option for you to do couch co-op with more than 2 people now. It will release on March 24th and they have also announced a special ridiculous $400 Collector’s Edition of the game.
This $400 is the Clap-Trap-in-a-Box Edition, which included the game, a steel book case, 12 lithographs and a working remote controlled ClapTrap steward. The ClapTrap will be remote controlled by an app on your SmartPhone and will be able to say phrases from the game, also you will be able to stream video content to the ClapTrap and view it through its eye. There will only be 5000 copies made worldwide and is available now to preorder from a select view merchants.
