2K Games have revealed that players who pre-purchase Evolve digitally on their Xbox One consoles will be given Parnell, Abe, Cabot and Caira plus the Wraith monster to use during the beta. Evolve’s beta will be launching later this week and it looks like Xbox One players are getting some extra attention and incentives to choose this version instead of on PC or PS4. The beta will have 12 maps to explore and hunt or be hunted on. There will also be eight characters and two monsters available to choose from in the beta as well.
Like mentioned before, pre-purchasing Evolve on Xbox One digitally through the Xbox One Store will give you access to play with four extra characters and one additional monster in the beta. Those characters and monster will also be available day 1 for you to use when the game officially launches on February 10th. This is to give players a head start in unlocking the roster that is available in Evolve and can give some players bragging rights as they didn’t have to unlock them manually. There will also be tons of DLC available at a later time for those that want more content in Evolve.
