Will the real Johnny Cage please stand up?

Johnny Cage is a name familiar to anyone who played the original Mortal Kombat games – and can immediately attest to the massive amount of new ground those games broke.  Motion capture fighters, spine rippings, semi-realistic jumping, and an overall air of realism throughout the hyper-violent combat.  But what of the mo-cap actors?

Enter Daniel Pesina, the martial arts master who was not only the face and moves of Johnny Cage, but also Scorpion and Sub-Zero.  So what happened to him?

This article explains about the ancient times, 20 years ago, before video game actors were a thing – and what could happen to them.  Let’s just say Nolan North owes this guy a slow clap.  Some good weekend reading.
