Rock Band Blitz Release Date and Price Announced

Today Harmonix announced the release date and price for their anticipated new instrument-free game Rock Band Blitz.  Look for it to set you back $14.99 or 1200 Microsoft Points when it comes out on August 28th, 2012.  The controller-based gameplay looks like a cross between AudioSurf and some of Harmonix’s older work in Frequency and Amplitude.  This should be an interesting title to keep an eye on if you’re into music games, but have enough fake plastic instruments to open your own fake plastic guitar shop (fake plastic trees not included).

Enjoy some screens and a press release for complete info!
