Did EA lie to the PS3 Gaming Community?

Let me take everyone back to E3 2011, Where  EA made an announcement stating anyone that purchased Battlefield 3 on the PS3 would also receive the full version of Battlefield 1943 included with their purchase.  Now let us warp ahead to present day where I as well as many other consumers get home, unwrap our PS3 copy of BF3 only to realize there is no BF1943 to be found anywhere.

Now a company as big as EA surely didn’t just forget about what they promised PS3 gamers, did they?  No, instead of giving the PS3 community what they announced so many months ago they decided to change their minds and according to their  Twitter the PS3 will be receiving it’s DLC a week before any other system.  Is this DLC going to be discounted or Free?  Not according to EA, the un/lucky PS3 gamers just get the DLC a week early at full price.

Thanks EA.

I would like to say that I came out of the womb with a controller in hand, but it wasn't until the age of 3 that I would receive my first console, the Atari 2600. From that moment on, games have not only a hobby of mine but a passion as well. Owning the majority of gaming platforms out there, I try to play as many different types of games that I can.
