Spin the Bottle: Bumpie’s Party is a really tough game to review.  You absolutely need to have more then just yourself to fully enjoy this game.  The complete game is played off of the Wii U GamePad meaning you can leave something else on TV if you desire.  KnapNok Games did a great job of finding extremely innovative ways to to use the GamePad and Wii remotes to put you and your buddies in very uncomfortable positions.

A handful of the games place you in some awkward positions such as having you going back-to-back while kneeling with another player and trying to pass a Wii remote between your legs without shaking the controller too much.  Another one of the games places you face-to-face with a partner while trying to press the A and B buttons with your faces simultaneously. I don’t mind getting close to my friends but some of these games will make you uncomfortable, this is where the fun lies!  Other games featured include dancing, sawing a log, playing ping pong and searching for a hidden Wii Remote, plus many more.

In all, KnapNok has included 17 games at the launch of the game. In a move that I hope many future developers follow, early adapters will get any future DLC for free. Besides patching and hot fixes, this is really a first for DLC.

The graphics are simplistic and look great in HD.  The use of solid colors and vector graphics really look sharp and there are lots of phallic looking characters to give you chuckles between games.  The soundtrack is unmemorable but isn’t annoying or distracting which is a plus.  The Wii U games have a wonderful clean look in most of the games that I play which makes me feel that they can compete fine with the PS4 and Xbox One.

I would recommend this game to anybody that likes to have friends over and have a good time.  If you are uncomfortable getting close with your friends you may want to stay away or have a few extra shots!  So pop some popcorn, order a pizza, grab a keg of beer and call up 8 of your closest friends and get ready to become closer!
