PSN was down about a week ago for give or take 8 hours, depending on your region (I was hit for about 10 hours). Sony and PSN has apologized, and yesterday released codes to everyone affected to extend their PSPlus subscriptions for a day. Thanks for paying us back!
oh wait no these are entitled gamers you’re talking about
Instead of using that free day to go outside, see your oft-neglected family, take your dog to a dog park – whatever – most people decided to rage on reddit or twitter or wherever else they feel they have a collective voice.

YOU DID ITS THIS ONE DAY CODE THING (although $45 prorated at 1/365th is 13 cents so I guess they can send you a check if you’d prefer)

Good luck with that.
@PSPlus_UK just had email telling me that my PS+ membership would be extended by 1 day as comp for PSN being down. Wow! So generous. (Not)

I’m glad you included the “not” there, as both a sarcasm indicative and also a throwback to hilarious 90s sitcom catchphrases. (Not)
Me because PSN is down. I EXPECT A MONTH OF FREE PSPLUS. https://t.co/0dd7xfQtMC

Oh, the narcissism of youth…
Anyway. Be happy with a free extra day. Punch in that code, and then we can all celebrate January 4th 2016 as the worst day of our collective lives because we couldn’t play Playstation games online for an afternoon.
