There’s a cool little game jam going on at itch.io right now, called My First Game Jam. The gist of it is in the title – it’s your first one! It’s for first-time developers, content creators – all that – to make a game and unleash it upon the world. The forums have some interesting concepts, and I suggest you go check them out.
The very first My First Game Jame game released is Abomination Obtainer, where you wander around and collect abominations. It’s short and easy, with a fun sense of writing and style.
I’ll be posting more of these as they get finished. My First Game Jam is still open until January 16th, so if you want to broaden your horizons, drop one in there. And let us know!
