Today Yacht Club Games officially announced the release date for the widely anticipated Shovel Knight expansion, Plague of Shadows.
Plague of Shadows follows the adventures of Plague Knight as he tries to overthrow his old allies the Order of NO Quarter and become the ultimate Alchemist. Yacht Club has created an entirely new movement system system for the game as well as remixing classic Shovel Knight areas and introducing new ones as well. And Plague Knight wouldn’t be himself without his potions so Yacht Club is also introducing a crafting/alchemy system for the game to ensure Plague Knight and the adventure feel unique.
Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows launches September 17th on ALL available platforms. For those who haven’t experienced the Awesomeness of Shovel Knight no worries Plague of Shadows will be included for free when you download the the original indie hit.
