Free To Play Friday – Short Child Baseball and The Hollow

The Home Run Derby was this past Monday, and the best part of it every year is not watching juiced-up Dominicans smash baseballs into crowds.  It’s definitely the kids they let into the outfield to catch the ball.

Short Child Baseball has you as one of these short kids.  It’s a brief “game” by the same guy who did Bill Belichick Offseason Simulator, using the same software.  So you know there’s not much to it.  But watching GIFs of those kids, sometimes trying, but always always failing, will remind you forever that short kids never win at anything.

Short Child Baseball can be played right here.

Additionally, with the release of Hatoful Boyfriend coming up, here’s an IF game for you to get your bearings with.  The Hollow makes you as a fairy-tale huntsman, on the trail of his lost daughter through the forbidden woods.  You’ll meet all sorts of fairy tale characters, and the good choice/bad choice dynamic works very well in the realm of interactive fiction.

The Hollow can be played right here.

That’s it, happy Friday!  (which seat should I take)
