Super Mario Bros. launched in 1985 for the Nintendo Entertainment System and is one of the most well known, not to mention best selling video game titles of all time selling over 40 million units worldwide. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the long running franchise that spawned the immediately recognizable plumbing duo, Mario and Luigi and their nemesis Bowser. To celebrate, later this year Nintendo is releasing Mario Maker on the Wii U, which will allow fans to create their own Mario themed levels with everything from classic 8-bit to NSMBU themed content.
