BioWare Brings Mass Effect 3 to Wii U

Mass Effect 3 is officially available now for the Wii U! The Mass Effect 3 Special Edition has been enhanced for the Nintendo Wii U home console, giving players more tactical control of combat through the Wii U GamePad and also adds bonus content, including an interactive comic that gives players the back story to Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2.

The Mass Effect 3 Special Edition also includes six pieces of bonus content. For the first time ever, Genesis II, an interactive motion comic created by Dark Horse Comics, will give players who are new to the franchise the opportunity to experience narrated summaries of the original Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2. Players will be able to make crucial decisions that will impact each player’s story in Mass Effect 3 Special Edition. Also included on disc are Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut and Mass Effect 3: From Ashes single-player DLC packs, as well as three post-release packs for the critically acclaimed Mass Effect 3multiplayer mode: Mass Effect 3: ResurgenceMass Effect 3: Rebellion; and Mass Effect 3: Earth.

Players can also switch the game view from the TV to the GamePad, playing the entire game right on the controller.
