Xbox SmartGlass for iOS out now

Xbox SmartGlass is now available to the iOS crowd, following an October debut onWindows tablets and Android devices. The free app is compatible with devices running iOS 5.0 and higher – sorry, no native iPhone 5 support just yet, you’ll need to hang in there for that one. Check out the gallery screen shots below.

As stated in the iTunes store:

Use Xbox SmartGlass to enhance your entertainment on Xbox 360.
Xbox SmartGlass lets your device work with your Xbox 360 console to bring rich, interactive experiences and unique content about what you’re watching or playing, right to the device that’s already in your hand. Interact with your favorite TV shows, movies, music, sports, and games, and bring remote control to a whole new level.

You can also connect with your Xbox friends, track and compare your achievements, and change up your 3D avatar.

We will be giving this a try to give a proper examination of how this works and how well it works, stay tuned for that. In the mean time you can grab the app for free below in iTunes.
