Roaming around random parts of Sanctuary is Michael Mamaril, a fellow Vault Hunter who will randomly give you blue and purple guns. Why does he do this?
Michael Mamaril was a fan of the original Borderlands, who died of a terminal illness in 2011. He played Borderlands with his friend Carlos and a few others, who contacted Gearbox to see if a eulogy could be spoken by Clap-Trap in BL2.
