You’re back in record time! Anyway, did you catch all of the dancing? The Red Room, the little man in red, Laura Palmer, Leland Palmer, Audrey – they love dancing. Watching someone else dance can elicit a few different emotions; awe, desire, visceral impression. Twin Peaks made dancing uncomfortable, alien, sad and disturbing.
So let’s play a Twin Peaks-based dancing game!
Fire Dance With Me (a play off of Killer Bob’s Fire Walk With Me poem, and a testament to the fact that I know too much about Twin Peaks) puts you as one of the dancers – or a log – grooving along to a remix while Leland Palmer cries.
