This week’s edition of FTPF features a couple free, creepy as heck games, for your Spooky September!! (lightning crashes, ghouls laughing)
Alright, anyway. The first game is The Fifth Apartment, where you play as an unnamed old lady. You live alone in your very small apartment, where you can hear the city below, see silhouettes of your neighbors, and watch TV. But all that changes when you find some teeth in your flowerpot. (doesn’t it always)
What follows is a creepy descent into madness as someone utterly alone. You can play The Fifth Apartment for free right here.
The second entry for this week is The Night That Speaks, which takes on a first-person GameBoy aesthetic to put you in a graveyard. There, you go into an underground catacomb filled with all sorts of weird stuff. The flickering light sources and the alien noises come to breathe a terrifying life into the atmosphere. Wait until the first time you think you see a face. Headphones recommended.
