To the surprise of many fans today Square-Enix announced a sequel to the cult fan favorite Nier. But that wasn’t the only surprise in store as the game is also being developed by none other than Platinum Games who now have at least 4 games in active development 3 of which we first heard about at this years e3. Though the game is still in the very early stages of development it looks like it will continue to blend the 3rd person action and RPG elements that made the first a cult favorite.
