The New Mortal Kombat X patch 1.02 download is available for all platforms and gives you new character skins and enhances performance for PC gamers. The performance upgrade will correct issues reported on Steam by giving players 10,000 Krypt Koins automatically at start up. Patch 1.02 encompasses new updates, DLC skins for different characters including Jason Voorhees, Vampiress Mileena, Revolution Kano, Pharaoh Ermac, Motherland Sonya, Kracken Reptile, Tundra Sub-Zero as well as a free classic Sub-Zero skin.
This patch also includes a number of balance and stability updates to Mortal Kombat X with various specific move fixes as listed below:
- General – Throws, regular and command grabs, will no longer sometimes connect on a grounded reacting opponent off a counter hit.
- Shinnok (Imposter) – He can now control the location of a stolen Goro Stomp.
- Sub-Zero (Grandmaster) – Combos on a grounded opponent frozen by the Ice Klone will now scale properly.
- Takeda (Ronin) – An added new move called Quick Kall (Down, Forwards, Front Punch). This allows quick return on a dropped blade without having to do an attack.
- Takeda (Shirai Ryu) – Always teleport to the other side when doing the Air Shirai Ryu Port.
Launching April 14th, Mortal Kombat X is reported to be the largest launch in NetherRealms franchise history. Unfortunately, it is only available for PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One at this time. PS3 and Xbox 360 gamers will have to wait until summer to join the fun.
