Hot on the heels of Rock Band announcing a new game for XBone, PS4 and Wii U, Guitar Hero has told the world they’re here. And, as you can see from the above image… It’s a little different.
Gone are the over-the-top cartoon characters and playing in Hell for The Devil (probably, anyway). Instead, you’re you – on stage in front of an audience, playing. And they react, whether you’re shredding like Zak Wylde or plinking away like me when I took guitar lessons at age 13. Fun fact about that – I was so bad my tutor fired himself after 3 months. Additionally, a feature called GHTV will be included, which will let you play music videos or something.
I feel bad for the actors who had to do all this.
I’m sure it’ll all get fleshed out before its Fall release this year. Personally, I find it all a little Night Trap, but I guess your results may vary.
