Shovel Knight has made a huge imprint on the Indie side of gaming and has created a huge fanbase. Yacht Club Games has decided to reveal the upcoming DLC for Shovel Knight and it will be free to anyone who already owns the title. It is called Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows and will have you controlling a Plague Knight in an all new quest.
This DLC has a nifty twist on the story and has you trying to concoct an Ultimate Potion, otherwise known as Serum Supernus. In order to obtain the ingredients, the Plague Knight must extract them from his once before former allies the knights of the Order of No Quarter. There will be a playable demo of Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows at PAX East, which will also be promoting the release of the PS4, PS3 and Vita versions of Shovel Knight on April 21st.
