This is pretty awesome. Leading toy manufacturer Multiverse Studio Inc. announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Koei Tecmo America Corp. to produce collectible products based on the iconic Ninja Gaiden videogame series.
Commenting on the announcement, Guang Yang, Chief Executive Officer at Multiverse Studio Inc. said, “The pedigree of the Ninja Gaiden videogame series goes back over 25-years and is a classic franchise in the Action/Adventure genre. Multiverse Studio is extremely excited to be partnering with Koei Tecmo and Team NINJA Studio to release unique mixed-media collectible statues.”

Additionally, Multiverse Studio Inc. announced today the first product in the new Ninja Gaiden collectible lineup, Ryu Hayabusa. Measuring approximately thirteen-inches tall from head to base, the statue captures the fluidity and dynamism of Ryu’s deadly fighting style. Incorporating LED lights for effects and theatrical ambiance, collectors have the option to power the statue via AC or USB power, which adds further presentation options to this imposing character.
The 1/6th scale Ninja Gaiden Ryu Hayabusa Resin Statue will be available for mass release June 2015.
