Happy Birthday Xbox One! Today is the one year birthday of the Xbox One and to celebrate and say thanks to the owners they have decided to give all Xbox Live Gold subscribers a taste of Insomniac’s newest exclusive, Sunset Overdrive. You can download the full game later on today or tomorrow depending on time zones, 9:01pm PT/12:01am ET or 5:01am GMT. You will be able to play the full game for a full 24 hours and even experience the online Chaos Squad more if desired. Best part is that you can continue where you left off if you decide to purchase the game down the road. I do wish it was just a permanent free download, but it’s better than just a short demo. I’m sure that some people can crunch in that time frame and possibly beat the single-player story mode if they’re that dedicated. Also, your achievements you gain from it will add to your score even if you don’t ever purchase the full game after the free trial experience.
