SINGLES Coming to Rock Band FROM AVENGED SEVENFOLD, GREAT WHITE, IRON MAIDEN, AND QUEEN

It looks like we have new Rock Band singles hitting our console stores on Feb 5th! Music from the likes of Avenged Sevefold, Great White, Iron Maiden and Queen. Which is all pretty darn exciting!

Rock Band DLC Additions for Xbox 360, PlayStation®3 system and Wii

On February 5th, tracks previously available as part of Rock Band Blitz will be made available for download as singles in the Rock Band Music Store! These tracks include Avenged Sevenfold’s “So Far Away,” Great White’s “Once Bitten Twice Shy,” Iron Maiden’s “The Wicker Man,” and Queen’s “Death on Two Legs.”

Additionally, for the first time, a Pro Guitar and Pro Bass upgrade will be available for Iron Maiden’s metal classic, “The Wicker Man”!

Available on Xbox 360, Wii, and PlayStation®3 system (February 5th, 2013): 

  • Avenged Sevenfold – “So Far Away” O
  • Great White – “Once Bitten Twice Shy” O
  • Iron Maiden – “The Wicker Man” O X
  • Queen – “Death on Two Legs” O 1

Cambridge, Mass. – February 1st, 2013 – Harmonix today announced that tracks from Avenged Sevenfold, Great White, Iron Maiden, and Queen are headed to the Rock Band™ Music Store of downloadable content for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Wii.

More than 100 million songs have been sold through the Rock Band Music Store since its launch on Nov. 20, 2007.

Tracks downloaded from the Rock Band Music Store are compatible with the award-winning full-band Rock Band 3 experience, as well as the controller-based rhythm-action title, Rock Band Blitz, available now on PlayStation®Network and Xbox LIVE® Arcade!
