Harmonix has announced that Elton John is coming to Rock Band. That’s right, a new three pack is on its way for the holidays. It will hit the Xbox 360, PSN, and Wii Channel store.
On December 18th, three of the entertainer’s songs will be available on the Rock Band Music Store as singles or as part of the “Elton John Pack 01”!
One of John’s most rocking tracks, “The Bitch is Back,” from 1974’s Caribou, kicks off the pack. The sweeping ballad “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me,” the first single fromCaribou, will also be available. Finally, the uptempo “I’m Still Standing” – which originally appeared as part of the soundtrack for Rock Band Blitz, available now on Xbox LIVE Arcade and PlayStation Network – will be available as a single for the first time.
These hits and more are also available as part of Elton John’s greatest hits compilation, Rocket Man– Number Ones!
Additionally, during the week of the release of “Elton John Pack 01,” Rock Band Blitzplayers will earn double Coins any time they play any of the three tracks from the pack!
