Full 1992 Dream Team Set to Appear in NBA 2K13

2K Sports previously had announced that the original 1992 Dream Team would be appearing in upcoming basketballer NBA 2K13.  However, one player was noticeably absent from the released digital team photo of the players in the game.  Scottie Pippen, the Luigi to Michael Jordan’s Mario, apparently wanted a bigger slice of the pie for use of his likeness, but pressure from fans on the internet convinced him to change his mind.  As a fan of the ’90s era New York Knicks, I despised Pippen, but I could at least respect his defensive prowess.  The team just wouldn’t be complete had he not signed, so this is a big gain for NBA 2K13.  So now you can use the full and accurate roster to humiliate digital Kobe and make him regret saying the 2012 Olympics Basketball team could beat the ’92 team.

While you’re waiting for the Oct. 2 release date of the game (Wii U version to follow at system launch), check out the new trailer from 2K Sports that gives a first look at the All-Star modes while bobbing your head to Jay-Z.  Looks like a pretty damn good game of roundball to me.
