Say hello to the ASUS’ Xtion PRO Live motion sensor. Equipped with IR and depth sensors, a VGA webcam and a pair of microphones, the Xtion PRO Live is intended for use alongside the ASUS Wavi. What’s the ASUS Wavi your wondering? Wavi Xtion exists to transmit streaming entertainment from your PC to your television, including multimedia content and motion control games. Kinect is almost at its 1 year anniversary and it hasn’t given us anything groundbreaking yet (unless your a fan of exercising or dancing in your living room). It appears as though motion gaming isn’t going anywhere soon, so I hope this new device will help developers shake things up a bit.
